Message from the CEO

What began in 1986 as a humble beginning to provide psychosocial rehabilitation and support for those suffering from severe mental illness has grown in the last three decades into a fairly big operation. The Richmond Fellowship Society (India) Bangalore Branch [RFS] provides help through its facilities like the halfway home (ASHA), Day care Centre (Chetana) the long stay home (Jyothi) and a Post-Graduate College.

The RFS is an NGO and a "not for profit organisation" and its growth has been possible only due to the continuous support from the family members who have reposed their faith in us to look after their wards and also through various donors and supporters who have helped to sustain our growth.

The RFS is able to executive its work primarily due to the excellent support and co-operation provided by the professional care and ably supported by the administrative team.

The new website created aims to highlight the work we do and we would be happy to have your feedback in order to improve its contents.

Join us to fight against the stigma and discrimination that people with this illness face in the society. Please join hands with us in our efforts to rehabilitate and support the mentally ill persons.
